Yes, how did you decide on the name Tea Design™?
Joy:
Everybody asks us that! Our biz emphasizes the design quality of
the teas. They are artfully blended and impeccably hand-crafted.
Dana:
I didn't know that. So all
this time I thought your tea parties were like English Tea Parties.
It is more like a gourmet show.
Joy:
It can be. The parties take on the personalities of the host
and hostess. We have had some hostesses convert their houses
into a tearoom theme and we have had some hostess who have had
us gather around the island in their kitchens. But, yes, to
your point, it is like a gourmet show. Our teas are gourmet and we
also sell exotic honey, preserves, scones mixes, etc.
Dana:
You know, I think it would be cool to be a consultant or Tea Designer
as you mentioned earlier.
Joy:
We call our consultants "Tea Tasting Designers"---plays off our
name
plus we custom design each party depending on demographics and what
makes that group tick.
Dana:

this one, designed for a more casual venue.
Or you can dress it up and use it as a jacket over one of the pretty
Nataya dresses.

Tea is soothing. It gives your mind clarity, is good for the
body, and gives you a tea spirit. You can always tell a tea
